Town Meeting

The Annual Town Meeting is held once a year between 1 March and 1 June.  This is not a Council meeting; it is a meeting for all the electors of the town.  The Town Mayor (or in their absence, the Deputy Town Mayor), calls and chairs the meeting.  Other councillors only attend as electors.  All electors for the town of Dunstable are entitled to attend the Town Meeting and speak on any town affair.  Meetings may have a theme and speakers – information is provided near the time each year.
