I am pleased to welcome and introduce several new businesses that have recently opened in Dunstable.
First, I am delighted to welcome Coffee#1 to The Quadrant Shopping Centre. Coffee#1 is a popular chain known for its quality coffee and delicious cakes. I had the pleasure of visiting on their soft opening day, Wednesday 11 February, where I met the team and received a warm welcome from staff, who will even welcome your four-legged friends.
Inside you will find unique illustrations showcasing Dunstable’s history. The cakes looked delightful, and choosing just one to enjoy with a cup of coffee was no easy task. We warmly welcome Coffee#1 to Dunstable and look forward to enjoying more of their treats in the future.
I would also like to introduce Danyells Afro-Caribbean Foods and Spices, located on High Street South. The shop specialises in Afro-Caribbean foods, spices, and fresh produce, and is open seven days a week, adding further variety to our town’s retail offer. This month, Danyells is expanding to include an in-store butchery section, offering high-quality meat options (including Halal).
In addition, we are pleased to welcome Peri Crust located on Vernon Place. The new business serves fried chicken and has introduced a special £5 menu featuring six meal options, including a chicken burger and chips or chicken strips with chips and a drink, offering excellent value to residents and visitors alike.
So, let’s stay local, shop local, and support our High Street and independent business in Dunstable.
