Dunstable Town Council is delighted to announce the elegant Grove House has been formally reinstated as a licenced wedding venue.
The Grade II listed building, dating back to the 18th century, has long stood as one of Dunstable’s most cherished landmarks—an enduring symbol of heritage, community, and celebration.
Following the departure of the Central Bedfordshire Registration Service in 2019, Grove House hosted its final wedding. After several years, this much-loved tradition has now been proudly restored.
The reopening was officially marked by Dunstable Town Mayor, Cllr Sally Kimondo, who led a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday 14 February as part of Grove House’s first Wedding Open Day. The event welcomed local wedding suppliers and vendors, giving prospective couples the opportunity to explore the venue and meet businesses from across the community. The day was well attended and warmly received.
