Two lucky Dunstable Community Lottery players are celebrating after each winning £250 in the draw held on 1 August, while continuing to support local good causes across the town.
Ms Wendy Bater, who plays in support of Hospice at Home Volunteers and Mr Riches supporting Dunstable Town Football Club, both matched four numbers and have secured a £250 prize.
The draw also saw Ms Y, supporting Dunstable Musical Theatre Company (DMTC), win £25 after matching three numbers.
A number of other players won additional tickets while supporting local organisations, including Dunstable In Bloom, Dunstable Lions Running Club, Tibbs Dementia Foundation, South Beds Dial A Ride, Girlguiding Dunstable Division, Hospice at Home Volunteers, and the Dunstable Community Lottery Central Fund.
The Dunstable Community Lottery was created to raise money for local good causes, charities, clubs and community groups. With every £1 ticket purchased, players have the chance to win cash prizes while helping organisations continue their valuable work in the community.
The lottery supports a wide range of local causes, from sports clubs and community groups to charities and voluntary organisations, with 50pn of each ticket sale going directly to the good cause chosen by the player.
