Dunstable is set for an exciting day of family fun, entertainment, shopping, and amazing vehicles on Saturday 13 June. With the return of the popular Dunstable Classic Motor Rally and the lively Middle Row Market, there will be something for everyone to enjoy across the town centre.
From 10 am to 4 pm, Priory Gardens (LU6 3RZ) will be transformed with a fantastic display of more than 200 heritage and vintage vehicles in the beautiful surroundings of the gardens. Best of all, this event is completely free to attend.
The Motor Rally offers more than vehicles, with family attractions including animal encounters, children’s rides and assault course, and the Interactive History Alive Trail. Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service will also bring its immersive Vision VR Road Safety Vehicle. Live entertainment includes performances from the Memphis Belles, Lulu and the Hullabaloos, Kiah Rihanna, and Unbound Theatre’s family-friendly Wind in the Willows.
Across the road in The Square and Middle Row, the popular Middle Row Market will take place from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Visitors can browse more than 35 local stalls selling crafts, gifts, handmade items, and delicious food. There will also be free entertainment for children, including arts and crafts activities and the exciting Brick Racers Experience, where children can design, build, and race their own brick-style cars.
Not to be missed is a special performance from the Majorettes group, Imagination, performing in The Square at 11.30 am, Come and support these talented young people as they join us for the first time on The Square
An extra highlight of the day will be the spectacular Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard Truck Convoy travelling through the town centre from 10 am. Make sure to find a good viewing spot along the High Street to watch the impressive convoy pass through Dunstable.
