Dunstable Town Council is delighted to celebrate the continued success of local young entrepreneur Skye from Country House Treats.
Following her success as the overall winner of the Dunstable Young Traders Market 2026, Skye, the owner of Country House Treats which specialises in natural dog treats, went on to represent the town at the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) Young Traders Regional Finals in Bury St Edmunds. There, she was named Category Winner for General Retail and crowned East of England Young Trader of the Year 2026.
Having won the Dunstable Young Traders Market for three consecutive years, Skye has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, establishing herself as one of the region’s most promising young entrepreneurs.
In 2024, Skye won Dunstable’s first Young Traders Market and earned the opportunity to trade at the regional finals at London’s iconic Portobello Road Market, where she won the General Retail category and was named London and South East Young Trader of the Year 2024.
As the East of England Young Trader of the Year 2026, Skye has secured a place in the National Young Trader of the Year Final, taking place in Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August. She will compete against the UK’s top young traders, representing the very best young entrepreneurial talent from across the country.
Dunstable Town Council wishes Skye the very best of luck in the National Young Trader of the Year Final and looks forward to seeing her business continue to grow and succeed.
You can still find Skye trading at Dunstable’s Middle Row Market, which takes place on the second and third Saturday of each month. Residents and visitors are encouraged to come along, support a talented local young trader and discover her range of natural dog treats.
