Celebrate summer at Dunstable Live as it returns to Grove House Gardens on Saturday 27 June, bringing six hours of live entertainment, family activities and community spirit to the heart of Dunstable.
This year’s theme is Queens of Sound, celebrating some of the greatest female artists of all time. Following a public Facebook survey, local residents voted for their favourite tribute acts, and the top voted performers will take to the stage throughout the afternoon, delivering the biggest hits, powerful vocals and plenty of girl power.
The entertainment begins at 2 pm with Amy Alive, paying tribute to the unique talent of Amy Winehouse. At 3 pm, The One & Only Adele takes to the stage with a collection of Adele’s biggest chart-topping songs.
At 4.15pm, audiences can enjoy Simply Whitney, featuring Taryn Charles performing the timeless classics of Whitney Houston. The energy continues at 5.30 pm with Simply the Best, as Kinisha brings the legendary Tina Turner to life with an electrifying performance.
Closing the show at 7 pm will be Spice Forever, celebrating the music, fun and nostalgia of the Spice Girls in a spectacular finale guaranteed to get the crowd singing along.
There’s also plenty happening away from the stage across the site. Visitors can browse a variety of stalls with Middle Row Markets, enjoy delicious food from on-site catering vendors, and relax with a drink from the licensed outdoor bar. Families can make the most of children’s rides, face painting and the FREE crazy golf.
Back for its second year, Dunstable Live’s accessible viewing platform will provide dedicated space for wheelchair users and their companions, along with additional accessible seating. New for this year, a large screen will help ensure everyone enjoys a great view of the performances.
