The Town Centre Manager activity engages with local businesses to encourage involvement in various initiatives aimed at enhancing their visibility and recognition. The Town Council is passionate about collaborating with local businesses to foster growth and unity that enhances the town’s overall economic and social well-being.
It’s important to emphasise that our local businesses benefit significantly from the Town Council’s efforts without having to contribute financially. This is quite different to other towns that have a Business Improvement District (BID), where businesses are required to pay a levy for business initiatives. The Town Council also funds Christmas lighting for the town centre, unlike many other towns where such displays are only made possible through BIDs.
We encourage greater support, partnership, and involvement from our local businesses, together, we can achieve even more!
