As we spring into March, we’re excited to kick off a fantastic season of events on The Square. This month, Dunstable Town Council will be hosting three wonderful events, each packed with free activities for the whole family.
We begin with our Mother’s Day event on The Square and Middle Row on Saturday, 14 March, from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Middle Row Markets will feature over 30 stalls selling unique Mother’s Day gifts and treats. In addition to the Middle Row traders, there will be free flowers for children to give to Mum, craft activities, and bath salt making. Live music on The Square will have everyone singing along with Angie, while Forevercol will keep you dancing throughout the day.
The first Street Food Heroes event of the year takes place on Thursday, 19 March, from 4 pm to 9 pm. The Square will be filled with street food vendors serving delicious dishes, alongside music from their resident DJ. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet family and friends and enjoy your own personal food favourites together. Street Food Heroes will return to The Square on the third Thursday of each month.
We round off the month with an Easter Market on Saturday, 21 March, from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. With over 30 traders across Middle Row and The Square offering Easter treats and gifts, it’s a wonderful way to shop locally and find unique presents for family and friends. Children can take part in a free bunny hunt, with an Easter treat for everyone who joins in. There will also be free crafts and crazy golf available throughout the day. Plus, we’re delighted to welcome More Than Board Games, who will be offering free tabletop games to try. At 1 pm, Buskerteers Choir will join us to perform live.
