Here at Priory House we can cater for groups of up to 50 people offering a variety of talks and walks, together with a selection of refreshments.

We are happy to organise the day to meet the varying needs of your group.

We offer a variety of talks ranging from Tudors to India’s Golden Triangle and Medieval Dunstable.

We can also offer guided town walks including:

– The odd and the unusual.

– The hat walk.

– Coaching Inns

As an award winning Tea Rooms we can also offer tea tasting with a talk about the history of tea followed by our excellent Afternoon Tea.

Priory House and the Tudor Wall paintings

Visit the oldest secular building in Bedfordshire with it’s 13th century stone vaulted ceiling as part of the Priory House Tea Rooms.

Visit the rotating historical exhibitions and take a turn about the Green Flag award winning Priory Gardens.

View the recently refurbished wall paintings dating back to the Tudor period.

Entrance to the house is FREE.

Guided Walks – for groups of up to 25 people at a time

Explore the history of Dunstable with a Dunstable Town Guide. Walks last approximately 1 hour.

Ghost Walks – for groups of up to 25 people at a time

Visit the locations of some of Dunstable’s hauntings, sightings and ghost stories. Walks last approximately 1 hour.

The Ghost walks usually take place at dusk warm clothing, sensible shoes and a torch are recommended.

Priory House of St Peter – for groups of up to 25 people at a time

Take a tour of the last part of an Augustinian Priory founded by Henry I and the scene of Henry VIII’s annulment from Catherine of Aragon.

Refreshments in the Priory House Tea Rooms

Combine one of the Group Talks, Walks or Tours with some refreshments in the award winning Priory House Tea Rooms. Choose either a Group Lunch, a Cream Tea, a Soup Supper or treat yourselves to a Pudding night. Whatever your requirements, we will do our best to meet them.
