Priory House Tea Rooms welcomes you to dine inside or outside, with our previous service of ordering at the till point. All tables will be available with screens in-between.

The wearing of face coverings is strongly recommended whilst queuing and walking throughout the building.

Open from 10.00 am – 4.30 pm daily (closed on Sunday)

Last orders 4.15 pm drinks and 3.45 pm for food.

Please check in with the QR code on entry or give your details at the table to the waitress after being seated.

Card payments are preferred.

We are offering Afternoon Teas now between 12 noon – 3.00 pm in our Jacobean Room upstairs. On Thurs/Fri/Sat. (These do need to be pre-booked).

Please note that general table reservations cannot be taken at the moment.

The fully licensed Priory House Tea Rooms is currently offering a limited Summer menu inside and outside on the Terrace with range of hot meals, paninis, sandwiches, wraps, cakes, cream teas and pastries. With the introduction of some lovely Summer salads.

Speciality coffee and a range of herbal and flavoured teas are also available.

Any visit to the tea rooms is greatly enhanced by the wonderful view across the beautifully kept, Green Flag Awarded, Priory Gardens. The gardens provide a serene setting for the historically important Priory Church of St. Peter, where the court that annulled the marriage of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon was held.
