The Dunstable Festival of Archaeology is a special one-day event themed around exploring local places and celebrating all things to do with archaeology. On Saturday 18 September, there’s lots to see and do for all ages with entertainment, activities, show and tells and the opportunity to hold replicas and artefacts found in Dunstable. So come down to Priory Gardens to enjoy it’s beautiful grounds as well as meet our special guests and experts from various local archaeological groups.

Sandpit digs

Stone Painting

Mosaic arts and crafts

Storytelling

Roman re-enactors and encampment

Roman Coin and Money Workshop

Bedfordshire Geology Group

Albion Archaeology
