Come and have a go at architectural drawing of Priory House with artist, illustrator and former architect, Richard Rees. Learn how to sketch, draw and paint this beautiful historic property in the heart of the High Street Heritage Action Zone.
We would like to build up a library of local pictures PRODUCED BY YOU to celebrate the repairs and renovations taking place in the High Street Heritage Action Zone. These will be on show at the Dunstable summer event on 30 July.
Please register for a ticket on one of the following dates:
15 March – 16+ only
Session 1: 10 am to 11.30 am
Session 2: 12 noon to 1.30 pm
Session 3: 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
24 March – 16+ and 18+
Session 1 (18+): 10 am to 1 pm
Session 2 (16+): 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
Richard Rees is an artist, illustrator and former architect. He works in a variety of painting and drawing media and has taught drawing, perspective and painting extensively. He is Chairman of the Society of Architectural Illustrators (SAI) and President of the Pastel Society (PS). His specialty is paintings and drawings of buildings and townscapes, and he is committed to passing on his knowledge of this to others. See his Instagram page for examples of his work @artyrees.
