We are open and ready to serve
We are now able to have that hair cut that we are longing for and most of our shops and cafes are open this week in Dunstable. Markets will return in Middle Row on the second and third Saturday of the month. The first market back on the 17 April will host 29 stalls selling crafts and local foods, which include breads and cakes, cheese and chutneys. We welcome into Middle Row Markets a new Jamaican stall selling, jerk chicken and curry goat all served with rice. Staying local is even more important to our town and supporting the many independents we have in Dunstable. Cafes, restaurants and pubs will be using outside areas to offer out door table service. Priory House Tea Rooms have a beautiful garden setting to enjoy the return of its café and afternoon teas. Kazmicks and The Coffee Pod will make the most of the areas outside by adding additional seating. We not only welcome the opening of the high street but also the Dunstable Centre, Court Drive. Although some restrictions will still apply and most exercise classes are still on line, the centre is open. For more information on opening and availability have a look at their website www.sll.co.uk/dunstable.
I’m sure we are all looking forward to this next step in the unlocking of the high street. I look forward to reporting on the fantastic events we will have in Dunstable and new shop openings over the next few months.
