Merry Christmas Dunstable

Annette Clynes

December 17, 2021

We have had a festive December in Dunstable, with all our free events back on this year. The Torchlight Procession was a fantastic start to the festive season and the Twilight Market was a real highlight for me this year.  We have added new lights to Dunstable’s High Street and Grove House Gardens this year, together with new Christmas tree lights and we will be adding more next year!

The high street looked fantastic this year with over thirty shops and businesses taking part in the Christmas Window competition. Congratulations to Cakes by Claire Kelly who came first, Sperring Residential second and Tan and go third. There is still plenty to do in the run up to Christmas and all the local shops in Dunstable need us to shop local and support our high street.

The Grove Theatre pantomime is on over the next few weeks and tickets are still available.  This year is Aladdin and is on until the 3 January 2022, for more information and tickets visit

I would like to thank you for reading this column this year and supporting all the events and activities that have taken place over the last 12 months in Dunstable. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
