Love Your Local Market 2023
The Love Your Local Market fortnight has now been embraced by over 24 countries worldwide. Love Your Local Market will take place in the UK on Friday 12 May to Saturday 27 May 2023. As well as a celebration of markets, one of the key aims of the campaign is to offer opportunities for new businesses to try market trading.
Award winning Middle Row Markets, which takes place the second and third Saturday of the month, is the perfect place to start. Middle Row Market can offer a 3 meter by 3 meter gazebo plus a table that will be erected and removed for you on the day. Reduced parking fee while customers receive free parking from 1 pm each Saturday. Dedicated staff to meet you on the day and offer support before each market. Fantastic social media coverage of the market and events on The Square. As an added bonus, there’s also FREE trader insurance for our two markets on 13 and 20 May. Why not a give it a go? During Love your Local Market fortnight, Middle Row and The Square are hosting three markets. King’s Coronation Market 13 May from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm with local craft and farmer stalls and free activities for the whole family. Join us for royal crazy golf, face painting and Coronation arts and crafts for a FREE family day out. Thursday 18 May is the very popular Street Food Heroes on The Square from 4 pm to 9 pm. Great street food, music, bar and a fantastic atmosphere. Saturday 20 May we will be joined by local artists and sellers who will demonstrate and invite you to join them to create local pieces of art. Urban Canvas will be joining us again with a new piece of 3D art for The Square, which will take two days to complete!
