With the success of the first Roar into Archaeology, working in partnership with Quadrant Shopping Centre and Central Bedfordshire Council, we have joined forces again!

Join us for our second Roar into Archaeology on Saturday 23 July from 10 am to 4 pm at the Quadrant Shopping Centre. This year we are even bigger and have even more ROAR than before. Meet our dinosaurs and take a great selfie or dig in the sand and find the dinosaur bones. We have an extra special Crazy Dino Golf course this year. For the first time in Dunstable come and meet a cave person who will show you how cave people lived. We have lots of free arts and crafts for children of all ages. Why not try our history treasure trail around the Quadrant? Complete the challenge and receive a prize. If you feel you can ROAR just as loud as a dinosaur, why not have your face painted like one!

Don’t forget this is a one-day FREE event with lots of fun and dinosaurs!!! Check out our website for more information

On Saturday 30 July in Priory Gardens from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm we have Around the World. No passport is needed for this free event to travel around the gardens.  Around the World is a fun filled day with a variety of performances which include, Elephant in Parade stilt walking, African drumming and Bollywood Punch and Judy. We are also joined by the Dunstable Festival of Archaeology, with Bluey and Bingo joining us across the day. Don’t miss your chance to meet them for free during this fun filled free event. Dunstable Festival of Archaeology will also have a variety of experiences during the day which will include, Saxon encampment, prehistoric experience with cave people, Flint – knapping and chainsaw carving demonstration. All this is taking place in Priory Gardens on Saturday 30 July, for more information
