Christmas is officially starting on 25 November with our Christmas Carols and Torchlight Procession, and the lighting of the Christmas Tree, which has been sponsored this year by Leaders. Dunstable Christmas Carols and Torchlight Procession will start from 7 pm on The Square. The school choirs of Dunstable will be singing carols on the Methodist Church steps supported by the Salvation Army Band.  Before the big build-up with the countdown of the lighting of the tree, we will be joined by the cast from Cinderella and of course Father Christmas. Hot food and drinks are available along Middle Row as well as doughnuts, cakes and sweets. Priory House will also be open serving their new Festive menu, together with an outside bar. The evening will finish with a fantastic light show which will be a finale to remember, it may even snow! Dunstable has brand new Christmas lights along the high street this year with bespoke decorations and beautiful tree lights. Dunstable is Christmas ready.

To start our Christmas events, we will be joined on Saturday 26 November by our first Vegan Market along Middle row and The Square. The new Vegan Market will feature a variety of vegan street food, artisan bakers and craft stalls.  The Dunstable Vegan Market will be held from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm with free parking in Ashton Square car park from 1 pm.

We have Father Christmas joining us at Priory House on Saturday 3 December from 11 am to 3 pm. Meet Father Christmas and enjoy music and Christmas crafts at this free event. We don’t want to leave our pets out this year so bring them along on Sunday 4 December for our Paws and Prints pet sleigh day. We also have Priory House’s Pudding Night on Sunday 4 December from 5 pm to 10 pm. Pudding and a drink for £8.50 and bookable online. www.dunstable.gov.uk
