On Saturday 6 August we host our second Ashton Square Day. Last year we had to host a visual Ashton Square Day due to Covid regulations, this year we have it all!

Ashton Square Day from 10 am to 3 pm, celebrating the past, present and future of Ashton Square. Join us for our second Ashton Square Day which celebrates our wonderful communities in Dunstable. Chill in the special garden area and watch local community groups performing live on stage. It’s been a few years from the last time they could perform so we look forward to welcoming Hot Academy, Tinas School of Dance, Salvation Army and Beati Vocal Ensemble to the stage.  We have in The Square for the first time a two-story soft play area for the children. The Children will love the arts and crafts tent and a chance to ride the Rodeo bull. Teaching Talons will be on The Square with their reptiles, small mammals, giant invertebrates, and owls. Owl handling opportunities for £3 a go, or two for £5 during the event. There is still more, so much more to see and do at Ashton Square Day, face painting, crazy golf, a living history trail, Hysterical History, and presentations and information on Dunstable’s rich history.

Shops and community groups will join Middle Row market traders along Middle Row with unique crafts and food stalls.
Ashton Square Day is a free event for the whole family and don’t forget free parking from 1 pm in Ashton Square car park.
