A great weekend to open in Dunstable.
I know the whole town was busy getting ready for our first weekend of reopening non-essential shops and outdoor hospitality, as we took the next step out of lock down. The weather was on our side with the return of Middle Row Markets, cafes, pubs and non-essential shops. The town was alive and had a real positive atmosphere on Saturday as I walked through the town.
Bunting and flags have been hung along Middle Row and The Square. Tables and chairs fill the high street’s pavements for those wishing to eat outside their favourite café or pub. Both parks in the town are looking fantastic with spring flowers, which makes them a perfect place for a picnic. Please remember to take any litter home with you if you are enjoying the parks, ready for others to enjoy as well.
As we step into May and look forward to the new flower displays arriving along the high street and also look forward to the next steps in welcoming restaurants, pub and cafes that have still not been able to open. I hope to also give you news of the events we have planned in Dunstable over the next few weeks.
Our next Market will be on Saturday 8 May and then again on the following Saturday (15 May), in Middle Row and The Square.
