With the help of the National Lottery Heritage fund, Local Historians have been able to unveil the details of the Augustinian Priory hidden beneath the soil for the last 500 years.
Together with the University of Bedfordshire these details have been put together to form a story that will captivate your attention.
Either individually or as a group of up to eight people, listen as the story unfolds and be transported back in time to 1461. Experience the sounds of the Canon’s chanting, the bustling kitchen and the day to day life within the courtyard of the Priory.
The audio guides are available to hire for a nominal charge of £2.50 (and a refundable cash deposit of £10) from the Priory House Tourist Information Centre. The tour takes approximately one hour, and to ensure that you are able to fully enjoy the experience at your leisure, you are advised to begin your tour by 2:45 pm.
