Celebrate St George’s day
Come and join us celebrating St. George’s Day on Saturday 22
April between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm for a family fun-filled day.
This year there’s a lot to see and do, why not become a
Knight or a Princess by making your own crown or sword then look out for Dexter
the Dragon on his walkabouts. If you fancy a challenge then there is the dragon
trail to conquer.
’..to save a maid St George a Dragon slew, a pretty tale if all
that’s told be true…’
Do you know the story of George and the Dragon? Catch the
live performance of Garlic Theatre’s fantastic award winning ‘George and the
Dragon’ puppet show. If you fancy music and dance you will also have the
delights of a wide range of traditional repertoire from our very own Dunstable
Town Band and the Whitchurch Morris Men.
Last but not least, watch out for the birds of prey flying
demonstrations. Would you be brave enough to handle them?
Look out for the following activities and entertainment:
