Our award winning tea rooms are the only ones in Bedfordshire to be a member of the prestigious Tea Guild. After being a member for only twelve months we have achieved an Award of Excellence.
The fully licensed Priory House Tea Rooms offer a range of hot meals, paninis, ciabattas, sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, cakes, cream teas, pastries and the Bedfordshire Clanger!! Speciality coffee and a range of herbal and flavoured teas are also available. Or why not try our wonderful Afternoon Tea set in the historical 13th century Undercroft?
Any visit to the tea rooms is greatly enhanced by the wonderful view across the beautifully kept, Green Flag Awarded, Priory Gardens. The gardens provide a serene setting for the historically important Priory Church of St. Peter, where the court that annulled the marriage of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon was held.
During warmer months the tea rooms provide an outdoor eating area, on the terrace, at the back of the house.
The Priory House Tea Rooms are currently open from Monday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm.
Gift vouchers are now available at Priory House in the Tea Rooms and the Tourist Information Centre.
