This brand new event will be taking place across Dunstable’s Town Centre, it should prove to be an exciting weekend with something for everyone.

OUTSIDE THE PRIORY CHURCH, DUNSTABLE
The Sealed Knot will be camped out on Bennett Memorial Recreation Ground, re-enacting battle scenes from the English Civil War with stunning realism. They will also create a large living history display depicting real life in the 17 th Century for all those involved in this dramatic period of English History.
Priory Gardens will play host to a large contingent of Vikings, and the Medieval Siege Society, who will re-enact life as it was in Dunstable and its surrounding areas.
Henry VIII and Elizabeth 1st will also be in residence in the town during the whole weekend, accompanied by their full and colourful courts.
All weekend Dunstable town guides will be conducting guided tours of Dunstable’s Historic town centre and giving a lively and informative commentary throughout the walk
Throughout both days and on all sites there will be additional events and attractions taking place including children’s activities, craft fair, trade stalls, hog roasts and much, much more.

Dunstable Town Council is pleased to announce that they will once again be hosting the traditional Sunday Afternoon Band Concerts in Grove House Gardens.
The concerts start on 22nd June and will take place every Sunday at 3.00pm until 24th August. As always refreshments will be available in The Place during the interval and all concerts are free

Dunstable Town Council is hosting a brand new music festival this August, it will take place in Grove House Gardens right in the very centre of Dunstable and will feature music to suit all tastes.
The festival starts on Friday 29 th August, with one of the very best tribute bands around performing in The Grove Theatre, VIVA SANTANA, they will be giving a concert of the very best of Carlos Santana’s music, this concert is ticket only and tickets will be available from The Grove Theatre from early June.
Saturday 30 th August will see the start of the free gigs in Grove House Gardens, and what a start we have the headline band is none other than THE HAMSTERS they will be supported by the GRAPEVINE BLUES BAND, SONS OF THE SOIL plus others yet to be announced.
Sunday 30 th August sees the mood mellowing to some fantastic jazz and swing from some of the best local bands, this will be a day to bring a picnic or buy some food from the vans on site, enjoy a bottle of wine or a couple of beers and just sit back and relax.
Remember the concerts in Grove house Gardens are free so come along and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic weekend of music.
