Older People’s Support Service
Good Companions Club
The purpose of the Older People’s Support Service for the over 75’s, is to help aliviate isolation amongst older people by enhancing their skills, confidence and practical abilities to help maintain independent living.
Transport to and from the venue is provided by A to B Travel and The Balloon Society for those who require it (separate payment).
A two course meal, and the opportunity to participate in a range of activities is included in the cost of the session.
The sessions known as the Good Companions Club run from 10 am to 2 pm and are available on a Monday at Beecroft Community Centre, Westfield Road, Dunstable. Referral and home visit required.

A wide range of activities are put on for the group. Check out what’s going on below:
23.01.17 – Catchphrase. Sight tests will also be carried out
for those requesting them.
30.01.17 – A visit from Hugh Garrod to talk about Anglia in
06.02.17 – Musician James Goff will be joining us for a good
old fashioned sing-a-long.
13.01.17 – Armchair based keep fit. A selection of other
activities are available for those not wanting to join in.

27.02.17 – Jonquil the Florist
