Older Person's Support Service

Older People's Support Service
The purpose of the Older People’s Support Service is to help exclude isolation amongst older people by enhancing their skills, confidence and practical abilities to help maintain independent living.
Transport to and from the venue is provided for those who require it.
A two course, home cooked meal, transport and the opportunity to participate in a range of activities is included in the cost of the session, which is currently £6.50.
The sessions run from 10.00 – 14.30 and are available either on a Monday at Beecroft Community Centre, Westfield Road, Dunstable or on a Thursday at The Salvation Army Hall, Bull Pond Lane, Dunstable. Unfortunately, it is not possible for members to attend both Beecroft Community Centre and The Salvation Army hall.
For further information on the Beecroft sessions, please contact Elaine McGarrigle, Older People’s Support Officer, on 01582 890610.
If you require information on the Salvation Army sessions then please contact Charmian Knightley, Centre Manager on 01582 603031
