Increasingly more and more people are using the internet and more specifically social media to find out what is happening in their local community and to get involved. The Town Council still intends to produce its quarterly publication Talk of the Town, and use the existing communications methods (website, banners, posters, advertising etc) to promote events and services; but it is hoped that by developing a social media forum even more people will be informed about what the Town Council is up to, and have the opportunity to get involved.
