Dunstable Town Council comprises 21 elected Councillors.


The  Town Council Elections where held in June 2009 , Councillors will serve for a term of two years. Following the elections in 2011 elected Councillors will serve for a term of four years. 


Town Councillors serve voluntarily and do not receive any payment or allowances.

The Councillors annually elect one of their number to be the Town Mayor.
